An assistant captain of a powerhouse team hits the transfer portal because he got benched coming off recovering from an injury. Hmm. It is a new world in college athletics, and I'm unsure how I feel about it.
That said, thumbs up to Coach Powers for landing Sean and I hope the kid plays with a chip on his shoulder for being the odd man out at Wisconsin. Being 5-3, he probably always has played that way.
Always nice to see Kane County boys doing well. Being a Coyotes fan from Illinois has been fun with all of the ties to Chicago/ Chicago suburbs, whether it be former Blackhawks or guys who have played in the area. The local hockey culture is one thing that I’ve missed since moving to AZ.
I was thrilled when I heard that Sean was coming to ASU. I saw him as an invitee at training camp and he was fun to watch. I follow all our prospects and since he played with Ty Emberson I knew who Sean was as a player. That season the Badgers played well. I am on the list on Madison for tickets to the ASU vs Badger game if they allow fans. Thanks for this coverage on a fun and talented player. Who knows? He may end up a Roadrunner or Coyote.

There is likely more to the story but everyone took the high road.
Love it!

It’s also great to see how much talent Chicago’s youth programs are producing.

How do you pronounce his last name? Unsure if it’s “doog” or “zhoog” or something completely different.
Also when people play golf in 115 I wonder...why lol. My husband does this too. Does not compute.
pronounced DOO-gie
115-degree golf is nuts.
