I have to say, despite it being your humble opinion, to me it is a fact that you have the most insight in covering the team I love. Thanks for all of your hard work! You cover this team like no one ever has. I was happy to follow you to The Athletic, and I am happy to follow you now. You keep up the good work and I’ll keep reading it.

Subscribed, re-tweeted, upvoted on Reddit, and hooked myself up with a glamorous avatar to celebrate. Welcome back, Craig.

So as a founding subscriber do I get my name somewhere special? Or at least an official Craig Morgan signed hockey puck? Just kidding, congratulations on the venture and look forward to your work again.

Finally a website worth subscribing to!! Beware, your new boss is going to be a real jerk. I'm secretly hoping if I can rally enough subscribers, we can railroad you into being the captain of our sewerball team. Surely there is a team mom among us for half-time orange wedges and donut pods. Cheers!

a huge sigh of relief for me today as I opened my twitter feed and saw what you were up to. I simply cannot imagine a Coyotes season without your coverage. You have been a wonderful insider full of information well beyond the usual stuff. We are blessed with your talents and the Coyotes organization's willingness to allow you access. I have enjoyed so much more the last 2 years with the different takes you produced for theathletic. I am excited to jump in as a founding member and see what you can do.

Craig, so happy to have you back. I have been a Coyote fan since the start in 1996. As all Coyote fans know it has not been an easy road. We have taken our hits on the ice and off. We have all had our moments of frustration and desperation. One moment of frustration for me was you not being with the Athletic anymore. Where would I get my daily Coyote nuggets. So glad you have the courage to go out on your own. You will have my support always and I can’t wait to read your article the day after we win the Cup!

I am so happy to see you venturing out on your own here. I was absolutely deflated to see you get let go at The Athletic, as you were the reason I subscribed. I'm glad you're doing this independently and I'm happy to subscribe to see you keep it up. You're a world class reporter and we are lucky to have you here in the Valley. Best of luck!

Glad to see you back in action, Craig! I'm not too familiar with the whole Substack platform, but I've seen some others around the Internet trying it as a platform, so I hope it's a sustainable way to generate some income.

Welcome back Craig! Went with the Founding Member subscription (hopefully that comes with a few as yet to be determined as perks) and gifted a friend of mine and fellow STM a year to support your work! Thanks bud!

I’m sorry for what you and the other writers have gone through.

I actually value your profession more than I do any of what the pro sports guys do.

Those guys on the ice at GRA and the players at Chase Field don’t know anything.

They are young kids who get paid very well to entertain a lot of people who know a lot more about life than they do.

And they are great entertainment and are a valuable economic source for a community.

I ended up kicked out of my house at age 17 and at a Greyhound bus station on July 22nd 1974...an empty feeling.

It took a long time to make it..

I’m sorry for what you’ve gone through and hope you do well.. you do great work.
