I've loved this medium since you started it. I am confident you will make this new venture worthwhile for all the readers here. If this means you don't have to manage a business while also producing content then it's a huge win for you and your family. I'm sure most of us subscribers will follow you wherever you go. Coyotes fans tend to be able to adapt quickly (who knows why though). Thanks for staying committed to Arizona Craig. The Coyotes wouldn't be the same without you.
I'm sad about the demise of The Natural Hat Trick podcast, but I think a move from Substack to a broader Phoenix-wide sports journalism platform is good for you, especially since the Athletic thinks Arizona sports aren't worth the attention of anyone other than Katie Strang. Best of luck in the new place.
No need for a refund, Craig. Thank you for keeping one of the few places for Coyotes content going the last 14 months or so. It's not easy keeping up with the team this side of the pond but AZCI was brilliant. Looking forward to following you over to the new site and all the content you guys are gonna pump out!
Congrats Craig, will follow to your new site no problem. My only beef is now we don’t have our own personal private information source. It was like being in a club! But sure I will get used to you being a public resource again 😁
Craig, I made the switch to goPHNX.com and your column. Question, please. One of the things I liked about AZCI was the subscription style model where I would receive emails to my inbox with one of your articles. Will that be something that will continue at PHNX, or will we have to go to their website and see if anything as been posted by you? Success in this venture, and glad you will have an editor (editing yourself is no small feat)
Congratulations on the new opportunity Craig! All signed up at PHNX and looking forward to seeing the new coverage!
My one complaint, if I may, is that it took 84 seconds of the first PHNX show (during your intro on YouTube) for "Phoenix Coyotes" to be mentioned. I hope you're charging your colleagues $1 every time, with proceeds going to the dog shelter! Unless, of course, you guys know something about this Coyotes rebranding that we don't...
Craig! Much like Chris below me in these comments, your work was the reason I subscribed to the Athletic, then left the Athletic for AZCI, and now I already have a subscription to PHNX and can’t wait to read and hear more of your work, as well as the other great contributors to this new site! Thank you for all your hard work on this site, as I know rolling without an editor is tough. Good luck at PHNX!!
Craig - You were the reason I subscribed to The Athletic. Then I subscribed to AZ Coyotes Insider. Now you are the reason I just subscribed to PHNX Sports. With apologies to Carole King, wherever you go (or lead), I will follow...
Great news Craig. Already subscribed to PHNX. I'm disappointed the pandemic never allowed you to have a AZCI meetup. Looking forward to what this move brings for you and your content.
Congrats on the new gig Craig. I have to imagine you wouldn't be making this move if you didn't believe it was a step in the right direction. And as far as I'm concerned you've more than earned my (and hopefully our) trust over the years and I'll follow you anywhere.
Good luck and I'm excited to see what's in store. I'll be subscribing right after I send this.
Craig, I will go ahead and setup an account on the Phnx news site.
BTW, your automated billing seems to be still active or at least it was earlier this weekend. I got an email notice from AZcoyoteinsider@substack,com that a new charge was made for 9/9 through 10/9. If you have not already done so, you might want to turn off that billing process moving forward.
To be frank, when I saw the headline, I was a little worried. My heart was crushed that you were maybe moving to a different market or something. But I was relieved when I realized that you're just moving to a different website.
While I'm sad that the Nattie Hattie podcast is over and I won't be able to hear you and Luke talk about ducks and cowbells, I'm very excited about your new opportunity. I've been listening to the podcast since it was called Today's Slapshot. So seeing it end is bittersweet.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter to me what platform/website you're on. I've already joined the PHNX community (and got my shirt!)
As long as you're covering Arizona hockey, I'll follow. Period.
A professional announcement and a thank you to my AZ Coyotes Insider subscribers

Not sure I can speak for others but you don't need to re fund anything. Has been well worth it and I doubt you were getting rich over it either.
I'll pour one out for The Nattie Hattie, but I'll happily follow you over to PHNX for the best Coyotes info around.
Congrats Craig, will follow to your new site no problem. My only beef is now we don’t have our own personal private information source. It was like being in a club! But sure I will get used to you being a public resource again 😁
Thanks, Craig! Congrats on the new gig;
it looks exciting. It's been great following you here, and I've already subscribed to PHNX.
